Map: Devon. Hand coloured map with latitude and longitude marked around the edge. The map is contained within three neatlines and is very rich in detail including cities, place names and rivers. Thick grid lines (extending beyond the neatlines) divide the map into twelve segments. The title is top right and beneath it is printed: 'LONDON printed for C. Smith No. 172 Strand. January 6th 1804. 2nd Edition corrected to 1808'. There is a simple compass rose bottom left with an 'Explanation' of the symbols used and bottom right is 'Reference to the Hundreds'. Beneath this is a scale bar denoting miles and furlongs. Beneath the compass rose is printed: Smith & Jones Sc. Pentonville.'
