Four photographic views, some dated and a copy of a print. Print 138: Mrs Pauls, North Shore (taken by Robert Hunt); Print 139: Milsom's Point, North Shore (taken by Robert Hunt); Print 140: Water loom [?], rocks and cave, Rose Bay; Print 141: Signal flags at Fort Phillip; Print 142: [?]mangrove Cottage, Petersham, on the Parramatta Road, from the back garden. The photographs are in a collection of photographs of Australia, taken or compiled by William Stanley Jevons during the 1850s. Between 1854-1859 Jevons was employed as assayer at the Sydney mint and also carried out detailed social surveys of the city's slums.
