Illustrated: title page to 'The Roaring Girle. Or Moll Cut-Purse', by T. Middleton and T. Dekkar, with a woodcut illustration showing the lead character dressed as a man, smoking a pipe and holding a sword. The play is a fictionalised dramatisation of the life of Mary Frith, known as 'Moll Cut-purse', and was printed for the bookseller Thomas Archer in 1611. The title page states that the play was performed at the Fortune Theatre by the theatre troupe, Prince Henry's Men.
