Description:
Letter from Percy Macquoid to Lady Stamford. Thanks her for returning the plan of the candlesticks [for the Chapel]. He has been busy finishing his book [probably A History of English Furniture, vol. 4: the Age of Satinwood (London: Lawrence & Bullen, 1908)], but he will do them on Friday and send them to her immediately: "it will only be a question of simple turning in tall sacred Charles II candlesticks of the time of which I have models.". "I have a fresh idea for the Stamford Gallery which I think is far better than paper & though more expensive is everlasting." Dated at: the Yellow House, 8 Palace Court, Bayswater, London W.
