Dante Alighieri 'La Commedia' printed by Bonino Bonini with Commentator. This is the first edition to have an extended series of illustrations for the poem. Contains Inf. 22.25 - Inf. 22.61 and Commentator by Cristoforo Landino on Inf. 22. The text of the poem is found on the left hand side of the page, surrounded by the Commentator. There is a gloss with annotation in lower margin: '+ Tra male gatte era venuto il sorco'.
