Dante Alighieri 'La Commedia' printed by Bonino Bonini with Commentator. This is the first edition to have an extended series of illustrations for the poem. Contains Pur. 19.16 - Pur. 19.51 and Commentator by Cristoforo Landino on Pur. 19. The text of the poem is found on the left hand side of the page, surrounded by the Commentator. There is annotation in the left-hand margin, partially cut due to rebinding.
