Reverse of an ambrotype portrait of a very young girl. An in memoriam scene, possibly ivory on dark pink fabric ( resembling water silk) comprising of a cherub or putti figure looking up at an urn stood on a square column. The image is set into an oval gilt locket with a hanging ring. On the other side of the locket is an ambrotype of a seated child, wearing a dress that buttons down the front and has frilled short sleeves; she looks to hold a ball in her hand.
