Reverse of a photographic brooch, containing a daguerreotype portrait of a young man. The back of the brooch is glass and displays brown hair that has been woven into a neat geometric pattern. On the other side, the portrait is set in a decorative oval frame under glass and a chain and pin attaches the brooch to clothing.
