Description:
|
Interior view of the laundry corridor, situated on the female wing, Menston Asylum. The wide corridor features a series of arches, some of which have doorways built in to them. The archways are tiled with brick sized tiles; the top of the arch is covered in a dark, possibly black tile and the bottom (to the floor) in white or cream. There are benches lining the corridor and numerous potted plants hanging from the roof of the corridor and sat on window sills. A lady can just be seen at the far end of the corridor.
