Description:
The first note is dated 3 June 1781 and in it Hamilton writes that Gunning can keep the books that she has sent her until Mrs C, Elizabeth Carter, sends for them. The second note is also dated 3 June 1781 and in it Hamilton is upset that she will not have the opportunity of seeing Gunning before she leaves. The third note is dated 5 June 1781 and concerns Hamilton's health.
