Description:
|
Several fragments from what was once a fine codex, written in a large uncial hand. A complete column of text would have measured c. 220 mm in height and 200 mm in width; the page was probably no less than 320 x 260 mm. There were 32 lines to the page. The Digest was a compilation of the legal opinions of Roman lawyers during the reign of the Emperor Justinian. Acquired in 1917.
