Canticles. Hymnus de adventu dom. ad noct: 'Vox clara...' ...'. Below this is a roughly ruled four line stave with notation, added in the 12th century (?): 'Gregorius presul meritis ortuque venustus...'. Original hand: Incipiunt cantica temporalia dominicas noctes de Esaia propheta: 'Domine miserere nostri...' The verses are in two columns of 31 lines, in black Carolingian minuscule with titles in red uncials. The initial letter of each verse is capitalised and infilled with colour. Large decorated initials introduce each canticle.
