Canticles. Old title obliterated; later title of 12th century date (?): In pasca ad laudes ymnus - 'Aurora lucis...'; Hymnus ad tertiam: 'Hic est dies verus dei', between which is interlineated 'Non cantatur'. The verses are in two columns of 32 lines, in black Carolingian minuscule with titles in red uncials. The initial letter of each verse is capitalised and infilled with colour. Large, decorated initials introduce each canticle; the counter of the 'H' of 'Hic' is filled with a cross. In the margin, in a small hand: 'A solis ortus...', below which, in a 12th or 13th century (?) hand is: In pasca ad noct. - 'Rex eterne domine...'.
