Canticles; hymns, including the creed of St. Athanasius. The verses are in two columns of 31 lines, in black Carolingian minuscule with titles in red uncials. The initial letter of each verse is capitalised and infilled with colour. The conclusion of the creed is followed by the title 'Ymnus ad nocturnas dominicis diebus' which is written in a near contemporary hand. The text begins 'Nocte surgentes...', with the initial of each verse capitalised and rubricated. 'Ad mat.' in red uncials in the hand as above, followed by 'Ecce iam noctis tenuatur umbra'.
