Description:
Friar's tale: a short prologue leads into the Friar's tale, which is a an attack on the profession of summoner. The tale about a corrupt summoner seems to be a pointed slight directed towards the Summoner in the same company of pilgrims. The host tries to keep peace by reprimanding the Friar, however the Summoner replies that the Friar should be allowed to go on with his tale but that he will pay the Friar back. The script is a current anglicana of a rather legal sort.
