Description:
Epistle of Paul to Titus: the end of chapter three. Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'H' in red and blue ink introduces the prologue to the epistle of Paul to Philemon. Red rubrication and a decorated initial 'P' with a floral infill on a burnished gold background introduces the first chapter of the epistle. I-shaped border with floriate extensions terminating in acanthus leaves, ivy leaves, bezants, etc. The word 'lawyer', written by the same hand as ff. 317r, is visible in the top left-hand corner of the folio.
