2 Kings 24 : 21 - 3 Kings 1 : 2 ' & make hoot oure lord '. An illuminated and lavishly decorated foliate initial introduces the third book of Kings. There are illuminated and red, blue and green ink floral and foliate decorations in all margins and between the columns. Part of the running title ' thridde book ' appears in red rubrication at the top of the folio with a small red and blue ink pen-flourish. There is red ink underlining of some phrases in the text. The written space is 160 x 108 mm. There are two columns of text, each having 24 lines.
