Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'G' in red and blue ink introduce the prologue to the Epistle of Paul to the Galatians. Red rubrication and 8-line initial 'P' in red, blue and pink with white penwork and floral infill, on a burnished gold ground, introduces the first chapter. I-shaped foliate bar border. Abbreviated catchword at foot of folio. The written space is 272 x 180 mm and the text is in two columns.
