Description:
The words ' Edward 3 ' appear in the top margin. A further rubric introduces the names of the men of the fourth garrison of the Scots army. Red rubrication in a later hand appears in red pencil where the original scribe has omitted the rubric introducing the fifth garrison. The same red pencil has written 'How erle of Dunbar help ye Scottes.' in the right margin, and the notes 'as MS. B' and 'as MS. C' appear in the right margin in pencil. Pencil writing in a modern hand appears in the margin at the bottom right corner of the text. The tale of how the two armies fight on foot. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
