The words ' Edward 2 ' are written in the top margin. The tale of the bloody battle of Boroughbridge, and the defeat of Thomas of Lancaster. Red rubrication at the bottom of the folio begins the next tale. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
