The words ' Edward I ' are written in the top margin. The end of the tale of John Comyn. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' A ' introduce the tale of how Robert the Bruce was crowned King of Scotland. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' A ' introduce the tale of how King Edward dubbed fourteen score knights at Westminster, and advanced into Scotland to war. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' T ' introduce the tale of how Robert the Bruce was defeated. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.

an hey in to þe wallis and ȝit in to þis day þat blood is sene þere þat no water may wasshe it away and so deide þat noble knyght in holy chirche How Rob(er)t þe Brus was crouned and made king of Scotlande. Ca(o) C(mo). octogesi(~)mo xix(mo). And whanne þe traitour Robert þe Brus saw þat no man þo wolde lette his coronacioun he comaundede al le ham þat were of poer shulde come vnto his crounyng to sent Joh(a)nes toun in Scotlande // And so it bifel þ(t) on oure lady day of Aununciacioun þe Bisshop of Glaston and þe bis shop of sent Andrev crounede for hire king Rob(er)t þe Brus in sent Joh(a)nes toun and made him king and anon aftir he drof out alle þe englisshe men of Scotlande and þey fleye and come and pleynede vnto king Edwarde how þ(t) Rob(er)t þ(e).
